Lux Takes Oregon State to the Fair
SALEM, OREGON, August 24, 2007
The Lux Group, Inc., a Seattle-based web design and development company, has announced the launch of a new website for the 2007 Oregon State Fair.
Working directly with the State of Oregon and with their marketing partners, Lux designed and developed a site that captured the true Pacific Northwest spirit of the fair, as well as the fair's irreverent theme, "It's Like a Magical Enchanted Land. Except Real."
State official Connie Hohstadt accepted the site on behalf of the State of Oregon.
"Thank you for your professionalism in the work you have done on this project," said Hohstadt. "We appreciate your commitment to service and customer satisfaction as we go live with this site."
The site makes it easy for potential visitors to the fair to find events, build a schedule, and plan their visit. It also is filled with exciting images of the fair's attractions.
"I think every kid has dreamed at one time of running off to work at the fair," said Lux CEO Jayson Jarmon. "For our team of designers and developers, this is as close as some of them are ever going to get - and we all had a great time doing it.
The site is located at http://www.oregonstatefair.org. Lux created the entire website, including information architecture, design and development.
